In continuation of Sir William Feel's
letter No.2 of the 6th January, 1954, regarding
the revision of the Canton-Kowloon Railway Work-
ing Agreement, I have the honour to inform you
that Mr. R. Baker has now retired from the ser.
vice of this Government and that his place as a
representative will be taken by Mr. R.D. Yalker,
1.0., who has succeeded Kr. Paker as Manager of
the British Section, Kowloon-Canton Railway .
2.
The delegation as so reconstituted will
be ready to open negotiations at any time after
April 21st, 1934. This Government however has
Bo far received no official intimation from the
Chinese side of any desire to proceed, or even
of the final constitution of the Chinese delega-
tion.
